Original Pencils - MOIE "Aqua-Fist"
The showcase of the original pencils for my Masters on Infinite Earths mash-up concept art project continues today with the King of the Sea of Rakash, Aqua-Fist! Mashing up Fisto and Aquaman was one of the first combos I thought of - Aquaman had lost his hand during the 90's, and for a brief period had it replaced with a magical water hand, so it seemed only fair to make him the partner for Fisto's mighty punching power. My only regret with this piece is that don't get to see his sword fully, which incorporated Aquaman's classic trident into Fisto's iconic sword. The finished color piece also received a fun cameo from a Aquaman-inspired seahorse/Stridor mash-up to represent his loyal steed!
