Original Pencils - MOIE "Diamond-Bak"
Next up in the series of original pencil pieces for my Masters On Infinite Earths mashup concept art project, it's Diamond-Bak! Combining the generals of Darkseid and King Hiss' armies, Diamond-Bak mashes the monstrous Kalibak and the scaly Rattlor into one loyal brute! I added Kalibak's signature Beta-Club weapon to the end of Rattlor's tail, and while I debated using the original gold/green color scheme of Kalibak's comic costume, I ultimately chose to go with the Super Powers-inspired palette since it matched so well with Rattlor's existing colors.
