Original Pencils - MOIE "Kopper-Kobra"
Continuing the series of original pencils for my Masters on Infinite Earths mash-up concept art project, here is Kopper-Kobra! I knew I'd be doing Kobra-Khan as part of the series, so I really wanted to give a shout-out to one of my favorite classic DC Comics' villains - the venomous contortionist Copperhead! One of my earliest comics I ever read was an issue of Hawk and Dove where Copperhead was trying to kill a family friend on a dark, stormy night in the suburbs. It was so low key, but so tense, and really played up this stealthy snake man. I figured he was a perfect candidate to mesh with Snake Mountain's duplicitous double agent, as our first introduction to the world of the old Snake Gods!
